Eligibility Criteria for Bima Sakhi Yojana
Below is the basic eligibility criteria for Bima Sakhi Yojana
- Applicant should be a women.
- Applicant’s age should be between 18 and 70 years.
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of any state in India.
- Minimum education qualification of 10th pass is required.
- Applicant should hold a valid Aadhar and PAN card.
- An active saving bank account is also required which is linked with Aadhar and PAN card.
- Relatives of existing Agent or Employee shall not be eligible to be recruited as MCAs. Relatives shall include the following family members – Spouse, Children including adopted and step children (whether dependent or not), Parents, Brothers, Sisters and immediate In-laws.
- A Retired employee of the Corporation or an Ex-agent seeking reappointment shall not be granted agency under MCA scheme.
- Existing agent can not apply for recruitment as MCA.
After the online application is complete, applicants will be notified of the acceptance of the application via SMS or email or phone call. Selected applicants will be given few days of training by the LIC officials about the insurance products and services.
After the training is complete, applicants can start selling the insurance products and earn commission incentives along with fixed salary of up to Rs. 7000.
